Rock Climbing If you’ve visited Snowdonia then you’re bound to have seen some rock climbers scaling impressive sea and mountain cliffs. With such a wide variety of venues and rock types in such a small area, North Wales is the place to learn.
Snowdonia (North Wales) has some of the best rock climbing routes and locations in the country, and is popular with locals and visitors from all parts of the globe. On our rock climbing courses we will ensure that you get vast amounts of climbing in stunning locations, with highly experienced, fully qualified, and confidence-inspiring instructors.
Rock Starter These beginners courses are designed in such a way that you get ample amounts of time on the rock to climb, and start learning the technical elements along the way. We have options from 2 or 5 day courses tailored to meet your requirements. Make it a fun weekend trying something new, or a week long course with your friends, family or on your own.
Move Outside If you’ve been climbing regularly at an indoor climbing wall and would now like to move outside, then this is the course for you. We have options from 2 to 5 days tailored to the type of climbing you would like to do. Multi pitch, sport climbing, single pitch, mountain routes, sea cliffs or a bit of everything.
Sharp End If you’ve completed one of our week-long Rock Starter courses or been on a Move Outside course, then it may be time start lead climbing on our Sharp End course. You can choose between 2 to 5 days depending on how much you would like to get out of your time with us. We teach lead climbing on multi-pitch ground to allow you lots of climbing and repetition of new skills.
Rock Improver This course is for climbers who may have some lead climbing experience but could do with some guidance to help improve their technical skills and climbing technique. If you feel stuck with your climbing and would like guidance on moving forward then this is the course for you. Courses can be from 1 to 5 days.
Climbers Clean-up This advanced course is for established rock climbers who are looking to enhance their skills and learn how to avoid potential problems and how to get out of them should they occur. Escaping from sea-cliffs, retreating from big multi pitch climbs, self rescue, using double ropes and dealing with accidents on remote crags and cliffs will be covered during the course. Course length 2 to 5 days.
Course costs Our costs are calculated on a daily rate dependent on how many people are participating on the course. 1 person £180 2 people £95 each 3-4 people £75 each 5 or more £50 each
Course fees include the instructor and any technical equipment needed for the duration of your course.
Ratios for Courses We aim to get a low ratio between instructors and client to optimise the learning experience and to give a safer working ratio on courses. We will discuss your needs at point of enquiry to ensure we can meet your needs.
