Welsh Winter Weekend Come to North Wales for a weekend’s tuition in winter walking skills. The course covers use of ice axe and crampons, equipment selection, winter navigation and ice axe self arrest. Designed for those with some hillwalking experience, who want to hill walk confidently throughout the year, whatever the weather. Winter time offers great opportunities for developing navigation and mountain safety skills under more testing weather conditions and under the watchful eyes of our experienced instructors.

Equipment for Winter If its your first time attending a winter course then it can be a pricey undertaking with exhaustive equipment lists.
