Dragon Mountain Skills is based near Llanberis, North Wales and is run by experienced, enthusiastic mountaineer, Bryn Williams. Bryn is good at listening to your enquiry and then planning your course around your aims and needs. Bryn also instructs on many of the courses, alongside a small team of carefully selected professional mountaineering instructors.
Mountain Mentor Scheme
In 2008 we are extending the services we offer clients who want to learn new skills over the long term, via the Mountain Mentor Scheme. Our Mountain Mentor Scheme is for people who want regular instruction and advice, following construction of a personal development plan. The scheme is ideal for people wanting a career change into the outdoor industry, or for those of you who prefer regular instruction in your new found sport. In addition, we will guide you as to how to practise between sessions, suggest relevant reading and help you ensure new skills become second nature. Click here for more details.
Single Pitch Award
Single Pitch Award (training, assessment and refresher courses). Courses run on fixed dates for individuals, and on demand for groups. Courses are run in Snowdonia and generally based in Llanberis, North Wales. Click here for further details.
 Association of Mountaineering Instructors
The AMI logo means that members undergo rigorous training and assessment courses over several years as well as being highly experienced, to become fully qualified mountaineering instructors. Find out more about the AMI here.
